Hip Hop Team

Ventura High School introduces our Hip Hop Team class, which is a performance based team and part of your school schedule. Hip Hop team is Hip Hop dance based and focuses on training, performance, and competing. Performance opportunities consist of Football games, Basketball games, competitions across California, and showcases.

Admittance onto the team requires an in person audition typically held every May. Dancer’s must be intermediate to advanced skilled in Hip Hop dance, acrobatics and gymnastic skills are a bonus. You must have a minimum of one year dance experience. All grades are welcome to audition, including incoming freshman. Dancer’s must hold a minimum of a 2.0 grade point average in order to perform.
